Because of God’s word, we believe “one makes a difference.” And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place” (Acts 2:1). There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is about all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:4-6). We seek to elevate these truths as the central core value of our family identity. We believe our God will do even greater things when we are all on “one accord.”

It is through Him that we seek to strengthen our relationships with people both in and beyond our immediate community. WAYS TO BECOME A MEMBER OF PILGRIM BAPTIST CHURCH
BY PROFESSION OF FAITH AND BAPTISM BY IMMERSION You accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and the Lord of your life. You choose to follow Him in obedient baptism by immersion. By this act of faith and obedience you will be received as a candidate for baptism and welcomed into this local congregation.
BY CHRISTIAN STATEMENT
You are a member of a Christian church and have already been baptized by immersion. You do not have a letter of transfer because your membership is void or the church records are not accessible. You are in full agreement with the faith and teachings of this church. Therefore, upon your statement of Christian experience and willingness to complete a new membership orientation, you will be received based on your relationship with Jesus Christ.
BY LETTER
You are now a member of another Baptist church but believe you have been led by God to unite with this church. Our church will send for your letter of membership and receive you based on your request for the transfer of your letter.
BY WATCHCARE
You are a Christian and feel led by God to unite with this local congregation temporarily because of employment, school or other acceptable circumstances. You understand that this kind of membership does not enable you to hold voting privileges or a leadership position in the church. You agree to complete a new membership orientation. If you are in agreement with these conditions we will receive you into this local body and you will be able to participate in church ministries.
